Extensive research has been conducted regarding socio-emotional skills training in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The latest is now beginning to recognize the role of metacognitive deficits ASD as well importance intervention. purpose current review study shed light on metacognition and identify assistive technologies that may compensate for ASD. Specifically, we examine through lens models developed by (Drigas Mitsea, 2020;2021). Following these models, identified digital have significant potential train people with These include, among others, robotics, virtual reality, mobile applications, serious games, coding games robots.
